Inspiron G7 15-7588, Maxx Audio Pro help

Whenever I try to turn on noise cancelling or "Revive" it says "Reduce Noise and Revive Are Disabled While NX is Active". I've tried multiple times to ask a Dell Representative with no luck, and Waves Audio's Maxx website's contact form is down. Does anyone have a solution? I've reinstalled Maxx audio and Realtek drivers multiple times.

NX is a headphone enhancing option for surround sound or surround sound emulation on headset.

Here is the manual for Waves Maxx audio.  It details how to disable NX.

If you look at the Maxx Audio user interface, the second block from the left on the top, Dimension, has a switch which will turn off surround.  It may be turned on by default when you plug in a headset.  Turning that on or off will enable or disable the two settings to which you refer.

I cannot yet see your attachments so I will wait for those to appear.

@Ailey

Great news, i've solved it:

-Open RegEdit (Before change anything remeber to backup the folder: right click on user folder "user" and export it);

-Now you need to create 6 binary values (in this location: "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Waves Audio\MaxxAudio\Presets\User" ) one for each key "Mode 0,x,0" ("folders" in the photo):

-The value's name must be "Param13" and value's value must be "00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00" :

And Boom, now you can use again "noise reduction" and "revive".

@matthewcamp915  actually i did a file.reg to apply these entries automatically if the problem returns (maybe cause of another driver update), but i'm not sure how i did it (it was long time ago), it could simply be an "export" backup

but i can try to explain again the solution:

-you have to go to the folder "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Waves Audio\MaxxAudio\Presets\User" (on RegEdit), here you can find some key values named "Mode 0,0,0" , "Mode 0,1,0", etc.

-now to add the binary values right-click to "Mode 0,0,0" and select "new -> binary value"

-rename the new value to "Param13" and doubble click it, will be open a new window where you can enter the value which must be "00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00"

-now repeat these two steps to "Mode 0,1,0", "Mode 0,2,0", "Mode 0,3,0", "Mode 0,4,0", "Mode 0,5,0" and it's done
