There is nothing ODD about these snapshots. Processor, Hard drive and RAM usages are normal

More about freezing : You mentioned start menu froze. what the cursor responding any where else or was it a complete system freeze.

You can checked control panel > Reliability monitor and find which application stopped responding at that particular time.

HI both times the laptop will just freeze at the startup screen when I lift the lid and wake the laptop from sleep.  This only happening to the startup screen with time and the picture behind it.

Adapter wattage is getting detected by BIOS

But battery state discharging it is the case ???  What about in windows, is it actually not charging ??

What about your first query? Freezing ?

HI the battery does charge up from 0% and it will charge the battery to 100% but as soon as the battery is 100% charge and I unplugg the ac adapter from my laptop it only takes a few seconds and the battery is all ready down to 99% percent.  Is their anything I can do I have only had this new laptop since July 2021.

Freezing issues can be difficult to troubleshoot and diagnose.  Please try running a systems diagnostics by pressing F12 at startup or by running Dell Support Assist.  Make a note of any error messages and contact tech support for further troubleshooting and possible resolution.
