Inspiron One 2330 AIO, maximum ram?

Hello everyone,

I've got an Inspiron AiO 2330 i7-3770S with 8GB installed (2 4GB modules) and I'd like to upgrade it to 16GB.

Looking at this forum and other sites, I've found some very divergent opinions.

So, does the 2330 support 16GB or not?

Thanks in advance,

Alex

That model is over 8 yr old now and since it is an all in one it has a laptop like motherboard which doesn't usually have a long life like a desktop. IMO it would be a waste of money (over $80) to upgrade/replace the ram since you have 8 gb now which is plenty for that model. It can take 16 gb ram and both chips need to match for best performance. Crucial is a good place to get it.
