Storing Driver Packs on Server

 We are restoring our images from a network location and it's working great. Can we also store our driver packs in the same folder or do they have to be on a local drive?

Staging the family driver packs on a network share is possible. All of the driver scenarios are documented in the following article.

Hi,

That link specifies how to store "additional drivers" on the network but not the actual family driver packs.  I am thinking if I create a Dell_Driver_Packs_Local folder in my network share that I could select my driver packs from there?

Hello,

With the old version of DIA 8.8, we could specify a network share in the USB creation tool.

But in the new DIA 10 this is no longer supported?

@pascone -

You can name the folder whatever you'd like. The 10.x release allows you browse to a network share which contains the family driver packs. Upon selecting the folder, the restore tool automatically scans for compatible packs of the model being imaged. If it does not find any, it will message "no valid driver pack detected". Here is an example:
