Not sure if this is the best place to ask but

Hi,

I'm currently in the process of making a golden image for the organization I work at. I'm done with it except needing to add drivers for the few computers that have an issue with the wifi working after imaging. Normally I just installed the .inf file into the image and it's fine, I capture and deploy and the wifi works fine.

My question however is, I just learned of the dell family driver packs. Is there anyway to anyone's knowledge to download these packs and preinstall them during the golden image creation process? Currently I'm simply making a VM and, starting sysprep and finishing the capturing with clonezilla

Anyone know how to do what I am looking for? Having preinstalled drivers for each of our major models would save a fair bit of time per deploy. I know SupportAssist will do this for you to an extent, but one thing I noticed with SupportAssist is that it typically misses one-three drivers almost every time.

Thanks

Hello, The family driver packs were made to integrate into the ImageAssist process. So if you wish to have systems pre imaged from the factory, the ImageAssist process will also allow you to reimage existing systems, simply by placing the driver pack on the deployment usb key that the tool also creates.
