Dell Command Update take sooooo long to install on first boot
As from version 5 Dell Command Update will no longer install on VM image of windows so I am installing it on first boot it via "Additional Synchronous Command" using the command
cmd /c "c:\dell\dcu\DellCommandUpdateApp_Setup.exe" /s /v/qn
This does work, but it literally takes hours to install. Has anyone else seen this?

Hi @wayoftheexplodingfist
I've not tested installing DCU 5x that way. Version 4.9 will install in a VM & will auto-upgrade once deployed in the field. I've been working with the DCU team and the next release 5.3 will work for VM's again. TIP: Don't use the UWP DCU version, Sysprep will break it.
Thanks,
Tyler
