naviagent for LINUX for FLARE 26

hi Does anyone know what version of the naviagent software should be used for LINUX when using Flare 26 and how can I download it ? Thanks.
I can find 6.24 from the download site but the release note references 6.26 but I cannot find that on the website.

I am sorry - perhaps that page is not yet customer-viewable. I have placed the package you need in the following location:
ftp://ftp.emc.com/incoming/forum123/
username: anonymous no password

Let me know once you have it, so I can remove the package from the ftp site... Thanks

Hi,
If you navigate PowerLink as follows:
Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads C > CLARiiON Navisphere Host Based Agent/CLI Linux

there is a package there available for download called:

Navisphere Agent/CLI (Linux) 6.26.2.0.2
Navisphere Agent/CLI (Linux) 6.26.2.0.2 Software Download.

This package contains both the NaviCLI and host agent.

Let me know if you are still having trouble finding the package...

I thought I was going to be banished from the forums for a moment there... ;)

Hi,
I still cannot see the software it is not available from the way you specify when I login to PowerLINK. I get as far as DOWNLOAD C but there is NO "CLARiiON Navisphere Host Based Agent/CLI Linux" on my interface is this an INTERNAL EMC only view ?

Thanks for trying to help - this is really urgent I need this software next week. I have been on this site several hours looking for this software under the download section. My profile on Powerlink shows full access is it something else ?

Best Regards,

BTW even if it works, it's not correct to log in without a password.. you should use your email address as password while logging on the public FTP service offered from EMC to customers.

AFAIK customers have to register their products. Registering a product allows you to download updates/patches for the product itself. If you don't see "Navisphere" in the available products, probably you didn't register your Navisphere.

Hi I have managed to download the package thanks, but the rpm is noarch so it should be okay I hope - as I notice that other zip files have x86_64 versions which I should have told you I am running in a 64bit x86 environment - but I guess this will be okay with the noarch.

Thanks you can remove the ftp as I am done.

Best Regards.

Hmmmm sometime reading carefully the whole thread may prevent me from saying such silly things :D .. You already registered the product .. Your problem is that you can't download the latest version :) .. Sorry for my OT reply.

Unfortunatly this forum is a public place .. I think that sharing files not yet available to other users isn't a great idea ;-)

Maybe it's better to wait 'till the page is available to everyone.

I don't think you deserve such a punishment.

I think that the forum is a nice place where everyone may contribute with their experience and knowledge. And it's better if it's a friendly place ;-)

:D

I tend to use some acronyms but they may be less used then what I think .. :D .. But obviously YMMV !! ;-)

AFAIK = As far as I know

If registering didn't help making the downloadables visible, contact your contact at EMC or the reseller to make this right. I had the same issue once and 1 phone call was enough to make it visible.
