The VMware HEAT beta is currently closed to the public, only open to EMC employees at the moment. Whoever provided you with the ESX grab script should be able to run the HEAT report for you.

Can anyone tell me how intrusive it is to an ESX environment while running the ESX grab utility?. Have a customer who is cautious to run it since there is a warning message regarding the impact on production environment..
Thanks for reponses.

Running a grab on an ESX server is no more intrusive than running a grab on any other flavor of Unix.
The grab only gathers information from the host, a snapshot of the running configuration of the host along with all necessary logs to assist troubleshooting.
There should be no impact running a grab on an ESX host in production.
