Full Establish of BCV's Issue
Hi,
We have just setup a very large device file that lists the STD to BCV relationships. This is on an HP-UX 11.23 host if that matters any? Next we're trying to run a full establish against this device file, so we can get the data synchronized from STD to BCV. Despite what we want to do, we're getting the following message when we try to do this and we're not sure what to do next. Would anyone have any ideas on why we're seeing this message and what we can do get around this? Here's the syntax in our command and also the message we're getting from the issued Timefinder command:
symmir -sid -f devicefile.txt establish -full -nop
'Full Establish' operation execution is in progress for the device list in
device file 'devicefile.txt'. Please wait...
Cannot use the device for this function because it is a Copy Session target
Thanks in advance,
/KPS

Would anyone be able to help identify what syntax I could run on a per device basis to terminate them with the symclone command? Or, is this even possible? It looks as though the old device file that we were using is no longer in existence. I may need to run this one device at a time to terminate to get the correct devices in this state.
Thanks once again,
/KPS
