Expand drive to Widnwos 2003 Server
Dear,
How to expand disk assigned to windows server without losing data?
the drive has not been configured as Dynamic disk..

we used diskpart. it erased all data on drive

It should work , You can use Diskpart.exe on both Basic disks and Dynamic disks. check Microsoft KB325590

Diskpart !
Expand the LUN on your storage array and check in Windows that the drive has now unpartitioned space. The data should still be there and accessible. Now start diskpart:
List disk, select disk x, list volume, select volume x, extend. Done.
