MD3000 with error codes and corruption of files.
Howdy all.
Got the following errors happening.
(this only effects slot 0)
Event type: 4011
Description: Volume not on preferred path due to AVT/RDAC failover
Component location: RAID Controller Module in slot 0
both : Component type: Enclosure Component (EMM, GBIC/SFP, Power Supply, or Fan)
Date/Time: 24/04/09 07:38:28
Event type: 1707
Description: Degraded wide port becomes failed
Component location: Enclosure 0, Slot 1
Date/Time: 24/04/09 07:38:22
Event type: 1706
Description: Optimal wide port becomes degraded
Component location: Enclosure 0, Slot 0
Both slots have the same errors around the same time.
Due to the enclosure not rebooting (as far as I know) does this
mean that one of the cables are loose?
I also saw this in the storage array profile:
CUMULATIVE ERROR COUNTS
RAID Controller Module 0
Baseline time set: 8/05/09 02:12:26
Sample period (hh:mm:ss): -01:-56:-39
RAID Controller Module detected errors: 0
Physical Disk detected errors: 4
Timeout errors: 0
Total I/O count: 1929485
RAID Controller Module 1
Baseline time set: 8/05/09 02:12:26
Sample period (hh:mm:ss): 00:00:00
RAID Controller Module detected errors: 0
Physical Disk detected errors: 3
Timeout errors: 0
Total I/O count: 3950015
Due to only having 2 hdds installed and seeing corruption (found.000 dir with .chk files in it) (Raid 0), Could this be a hdd issue?
Cheers

If that error was just one time, then probably just a cable disconnect.
Check with support on the second issue.
