About me

<p>My name is Scott Hanson and I'm a Senior Engineer in the <a href="http://www.delltechcenter.com">Dell Enterprise Technology Center</a>.  My expertise is in systems managment on Dell PowerEdge servers.  I'm familiar with <a href="http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/OpenManage+Systems+Management">Dell OpenManage</a> and have produced several <a href="http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/OpenManage+Demos">demos</a> and <a href="http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/Whitepapers">papers</a> on our site.</p> <p>I blog on the <a href="/blogs/dell_tech_center">Dell TechCenter blog</a> and focus on systems managment tools for Dell PowerEdge servers, including partner products such as the <a href="http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/Microsoft+System+Center">Microsoft System Center suite of tools</a>.</p> <p>I keep the <a href="http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/OpenManage+Systems+Management">OpenManage section</a> of the DellTechCenter site updated with tips, tricks, and links to help you use <a href="http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/OpenManage+Systems+Management">OpenManage</a> more effectively. </p> <p>Some of our work is also published in the <a href="http://www.dell.com/content/topics/global.aspx/power/en/power?c=us&cs=555&l=en&s=biz">Dell PowerSolutions Magazine</a>.</p> <p>We have a lab with 7 racks of equipment and I enjoy playing with all the latest hardware that comes out of our Engineering group.  When I'm not at work I enjoy <a href="http://www.engadget.com">gadgets</a>, working on <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/scotthan/DellCarShow2007#5097155070006119442">my muscle car</a>, and <a href="http://www.prettypokerboy.com">traveling to Las Vegas to play poker</a>.</p> <p>Follow me on twitter <a href="http://www.twitter.com/dellservergeek">@DellServerGeek</a>.</p>
