DELL SAN Redundant Switch Cabling | Inter switch Links
Hi All,
When we deploy SAN Storages with redundant san switches, in Equallogic Dell recommends to link the switches together, whereas in Compellent and Powervault MD series Dell recommends not to link the switches. I want to know the technical reason behind it.

Please also explain that if we don't connect switches in Equallogic, what are the effects on performance etc, and is it compulsory or optional?
