Equalogic PS4100

Hi Dell Team,

We got a strange error on the controller of an Equalogic PS4100. We've got the a notification with the error :

    • [ID: 3.18] Critical: Member eql1 Cache to Flash Power Module Failure

When I check the controller status active and passiv are both in "good" state. But we still have the alerte "cache-to-flash-power module failure. In my opinion if the problem was hardware, the status should be on "fail" for the controller.
But all seems good. We tried to restard the machine and it works one day, no more error and notifications but today it came back. Same situation, status good for both controller but critrical error "cache-to-flash power module failure"
We can't try to upgrade the controller firmware because we dont have support contract with Dell. (old machine)
Do you an idea to help us ?
by advance sorry for my bad english, french it here !
Thank you guys, hope you will help us

Bonjour,

GrpName>show members

GrpName>member select MEMBERNAME show controllers

Salutations,
Don
