The URL in Forum Watch Email is invalid
When someone subscribes to a thread or is part of a thread, they get a "watch" email that sends a message to their personal email account when someone else responds. That link has the format
http://softwaresupport.emc.com/support/forum/dmSupportForum.asp?redirectURL=http://forums.emc.com/forums%2Fthread.jspa%3FforumID=24%26threadID=42340
But if you look at the email closely, you may notice it has a period at the end of the message right after the link. When I check my mail directly on my provider, the link works OK, but when I pull that email down locally in plain text that period becomes part of the link and I have to strip it off or I get an error from the forums when I click on it.
Can we get rid of the period at the end of the watch URL? I can live with it, but it probably affects others as well?

If you check the email sent and do copy shortcut/link you will get it without dot. It sounds as process which happens to your email after is doing something wrong so that's where I would focus my research.

Thank you! that fixed the problem perfectly.
I can now link directly to the thread without any issues.
