MH3021P unresponsive after failed firmware update

I received the mh3021p test for our field. Typically first thing we do is to see if there are any firmware updates. I used the mh3021p update utility A5 off the Dell website. At the end of the update it claimed it failed. Since then the device shows no light on and when I plug anything into it it doesn't show up either. In Device Manager is shows up under libusb-win32 devices (screenshot attached ) and other times it shows up under Universal Serial Bus Devices.I've tried a few different PCs and all are doing the same thing. Currently trying to bring it back to life on my Dell Latitude 9520. Screenshot 2023-02-06 110727.png

I got the same issue when updating my MH3021P with both A07 and A06 versions. Is there any way I can get it recovered?

I also have the same problem - device is no longer under warranty but clearly issue is related to failed firmware update - surely this is something Dell should provide a remote fix for or replace devices free of charge (in or out of warranty).

You cannot be issuing an update, recommending it to the user and then bricking the device in the process.

It still functions as USB hub but is no longer detected as a loudspeaker/microphone so effectively useless in its primary function.

Mine failed during A08 update.

To anyone with the same issue - Dell quietly has issued A09 firmware on Oct 1st 24 which unbricks the device and it can be used again as a speaker/microphone. Annoyingly no admission of the fault in the release notes but at least it works.
