EMC Certification

Does anyone know if I can just take the E20-522 exam or are there prerequisites that need to be done before I'm eligible for that exam?

E20-522 is CLARiiON Solutions Specialist Exam for Storage Administrators. Before you can become an EMC Proven Specialist, you must first become an EMC Proven Associate. You can become an Associate by passing one of the following:

E20-001 - Storage Technology Foundations. This is a generic (i.e. not specific to EMC) exam, which is recognized by the industry in general (or so I've been told). I believe this is the recommended exam to take.

E20-040 - EMC Technology Foundations. This is a generic exam based on EMC products.

E20-050 - This is specific to CLARiiON and is probably the easiest exam, if you specialize in CLARiiON. However, if you decide to get a certification in other areas (not CLARiiON), you would need to take another associate exam.
