Dell Command Update questions

Hi!

We have quite a few Latitude 5420 laptops in our company and we're having problems with the WiFi drivers (they have the Intel WiFi 6 AX201 160Mhz card installed).

We are using Dell Command Update the drivers to keep our computers up to date (set to automatic).
Since the WiFi driver at the Dell support pages/Dell Command Update are outdated (v22.100.0.3, A21) we went to Intel and downloaded the latest WiFi drivers from their page (v22.110.1).

The Intel drivers fixes the problems we had with the WiFi card and with that we have a few of questions:

1. The next time Dell releases a new version of the WiFi driver, will Dell Command Update automatically overwrite the drivers we got from Intel ?

2. A bit obvious, but why doesn't Dell stay on top of these driver updates ?. The driver we downloaded from Intel was released 25.01.2022.

Thanks!

If you could post the answers to the questions here (that you sent in PM), it might even help others wondering about the same questions.
