Screen not appearing after installing new graphics card.
I just installed a EVGA geforce gtx 750ti sc, plugged it in to the monitor and no screen appeared. So I plugged it back in to the onboard graphics, and tried disabling it and try it again but still nothing, I looked in device manager, and the card isnt even detected, I can't install the drivers for it because when I load up the launcher, it says it doesn't detect an EVGA device installed, I also heard that you have to change something in the BIOS settings from onboard to pci but I can't find an option for it. (I have a dell inspiron 3487). When I plug in the monitor cable to the card, it says it goes into power saver mode. I am getting frusterated and I am wondering if the card is just faulty, the card does not require a 6 pin power supply, it doesn't need external power. I dont know what to do.

I'm thinking your talking about the 3847? It only comes with a 300W PSU. Do you have anything else added to your computer? Generally with Intel machines the switch from integrated graphics to external should be automatic. Does the fan spin up on the graphics card? Is it seated correctly and/or have you tried to reseat it? I was going to say that your PSU might not handle it but I looked it up and 300W should be fine. If all of the above doesn't work, i'd exchange the graphics card.
