Recovery Image

Hey guys, I am desperately seeking anyone's help with this matter. I would like to restore my Dell Optiplex Gx 620 to factory settings. This computer is a refurbished one, had it about a year. Having some issues with it lately, my partner and I play a lot of games. Like poker online, and other games, some reason having trouble with games we use to play on this computer. Since it's refurbished I don't have the recovery disc for it, I was wondering if I can still take it back to factory settings. I recently added more ram to this computer, due to gaming. Please someone help me, we can't really afford to buy another computer at this time. Thank you in advance...

The Optiplex 620 is not a consumer system and does not come with Restore Image.  Dimension or Inspiron systems would but no such thing on Optiplex 620.

How you can or can't upgrade depends on which model you have.

The Tower Model is the most upgradeable.

All of them can be updated to Windows 7 or Windows 8 with BIOS A11.

Windows 8 would however require an updated Processor unless you have a Pentium D based 620.

Not all pentium 4's support EXECUTE DISABLE BIT In BIOS under security.

You can get a Generic Green Dell XP SP2 CD on ebay and the other drivers are available on the dell website. I would recommend a Radeon HD 6450 video card to keep the system current wit Online games and flash etc.

The Silent EAH6450 from ASUS fits in all models EXCEPT the USFF which has no slots.
