Just to let you know, the 8300GS is a low-end card not really designed for gaming. I had the same card at one time in my Inspiron 530 but quickly replaced it. You can try uninstalling the Nvidia driver from your add/remove programs and reinstalling it from the CD you have. Normally, I would recommend installing the latest driver from Nvidia's web site but not for the 8300GS. You would be much happier with a 9500GT if you want to upgrade or you have interest playing games.

Hi srvwiz, If you listen to microsoft, then 128mb is just enough to run Vista aero. I would go for the 512MB, or the 1GB in the 9500GT as per JMICHAEL.

Compatibility really just involves getting a card that is PCI Express X16 whether it is Nvidia or ATI and not exceeding the limitations of your power supply. I just suggested THIS card on another post for the same computer. For the performance vs. cost, it is not a bad deal and way ahead of the 9500GT for almost the same cost.

And the winner is: HD4670
But the HD4650 is really not too far behind and for $50 after rebate it might be worth considering. You can go with the 1GB card, but it won't do any better.

Thanks JMICHAEL
I think HD4670 with 1GB would be good for me...and I think it will support all kinds of game....
and one more help...does all the cards comes with the global warranty.......
