Hi mike19782008,

Inspiron One 2330 supports the processors listed in the following table and it supports only the i7-3770S:

Inspiron One 2330 has 2 memory slots which support 1333 MHz DDR3 and 1600 MHz DDR3 SODIMM memory modules with a maximum capacity of 8GB.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

hi - when adding memory to get to 8BG - do I need to replace what came with pc or can I just add 4gb to make it 8?  also - does is matter if I mix brads of memory as long as they are the same 1333 MHz DDR3 and 1600 MHz DDR3 SODIMM?

Thanks

Hello Bigal5,

If you have a 4GB stick installed on one slot and the second slot is empty, you may add another 4GB memory  stick to make it 8GB. However, greater than 4 GB memories require 64-bit operating systems.

Using a different brand wont be as issue as long as the speed and the type of the memory is same.

Hope this helps!

sorry for delay  - just noticed the reply in my email.  thanks for info.  my system is running a 64 bit system - so can I then use 16gb of memory?

Hello Bigal5,

Maximum memory supported by an Inspiron One 2330 is 8GB. 16GB memory was never tested on this system.
