avi to mpeg encode
Can someone tell me a good software to run on my Dell with windows xp to convert avi to mpeg?
Was told I have to have Microsoft DirectX 8.0...How do I check if I have that?---thanks

Click here to convert the avi file to an mpeg file. Download the latest version of TMPGEnc
* Click Start- Run
* Type dxdiag
* Click OK
* The version is listed in the middle of the page
