HUGE Bug Found with OME Firmware Deployment!

I just got bit by a HUGE bug in the new OME Appliance. I filtered all of the firmware updates so that only the ones that did NOT require reboots showed. There were only about 30 systems showing. I clicked the checkbox at the top of the list to select all of them, and began deploying the updates to them.

20 minutes later I discovered that regardless of my screen only showing about 30 servers, all with updates that did not require reboots, when I selected the checkbox to update all of them, it actually included all of the servers and their required updates that DO require reboots as well! All of a sudden I have over 600 servers across the country downloading and installing updates, followed by them rebooting themselves!!!

This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! I cancelled the update job, but not before critical servers began going offline to install firmware updates! Servers that were not included in my selection when choosing the servers and firmware updates to install!!

Hi,

yes this is a big mess. The Filter is just for the viewing, and if you select all, you select all Systems, which are also not filtered.

I had the same situation, and accidently patched a big amount of productive systems.

This should be fixes or described to the users.
