PowerProtect Data Manager for Kubernetes Container Migration

Did you know that you can use PowerProtect Data Manager to move containers from one cluster to another?

This can be incredibly useful if you have a dedicated cluster for dev/test, security probing or if you need to move from an on-prem cluster to the cloud.

The process is straight forward and involves backing up from the source cluster and restoring to the destination. You will need to ensure that the storage classes are mapped to new storage classes which can be done manually using Config maps. If you're looking for more info be sure to check out the PowerProtect Data Manager classroom and on-demand training

Anyone out there protecting Kubernetes environments with PPDM?  Have you used it for container migration?
