What does "Issue with Support Services" mean?

What does it mean when you go to Dell Support and you enter the service tag and, next to Support Services, there is no green circle with a checkmark followed by information about the service status. Instead there is a red octagon with a horizontal line which seems like a stop sign. Next to that it simply says "Issue with Support Services". I see no way to find out what the issue is. I see this mainly when looking for used products, such as on eBay. Does this "Issue with Support Services" signify anything that would suggest I avoid buying the product? For example, could this mean the product was reported stolen, or that Dell scrapped it for some reason? What exactly does it mean? Can Dell fix this?

That means the system does not have a validated warranty. In your case, this XPS 15 7590 originally shipped from Dell on June 21, 2020. It was then returned to Dell on March 11, 2022. It was then sold in bulk to an unknown reseller as = LIQUIDATION NO WARRANTY

None of our agents ever received your Service Tag? Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. Provide to them the private Service Tag.

For any Service Tag that no longer has a purchased warranty, it shows a gray/black symbol next to Expired =

@DELL-Chris M My question was not about a service tag for a product I own but one that was advertised on eBay. The seller provided the service tag which I wanted to use to see if the product details matched the eBay listing. But when I went to Dell support and entered the service tag that was provided to me, I got the result that I described in my original message. I am including a photo. Again, this is not my service tag, I want to know why it says "Issue with Support Services". Should I be concerned about buying a used product that says that?

@DELL-Chris M Okay, thanks. I suppose Dell gets some returns that aren't worth refurbishing so they get sold to resellers. It might be okay to buy such a product if the seller accepts returns or will take it back if it is defective.
