Is this a Dell Financial Services related email real?

Hello,

Just came here looking for anyone else with this issue because I received the same email just now. Not sure how a scammer could have gotten all the account detail and payment amount correct but the way the email looks and the email sent from looked a bit suspect.

I'm guessing because they have suspended the service they have partnered with this ARO.ca company to collect remaining payments on their behalf?

Still seems a bit strange so would be good to get some confirmation from Dell Financial Services about this because I don't see any information when logging into my DPA account regarding this.

I had this too.  Same letter and dates. Seemed 'Phishy' because of the weird email address, and the fact that they starred out my account number.
I just sent a request on the page the Mod linked.  Hoping it's legit and not some really well informed phishing scam lol

I received a similar email from the same email address. It states that I owe them money even though I don't, and that the sooner I pay in full, the less I would have to pay... sounds extremely scamy to me.

An excerpt:

You must accept the terms of this offer to be eligible. You can accept terms by calling our servicing partner ARO Inc. at 1 (866) 445-1138 or by email to Dell_SSP@aro.ca with your name and address in the body of the email stating “I accept the terms of the discount program”. Note that by accepting this offer, the applicable AIR/credit rate and interest charges/credit charges will not be increased.

You're saying this is real?

I also can't sign into the DFS website it always gives me an error.

I assume it's the same one I received. I still have 1 year left on my finance plan, and it's telling me if I pay a certain amount by August 25th then Dell Financial will wipe out the rest...saving me about $400. It's definitely a good deal if it's true and from the answers I'm seeing, it appears to be true.

Except I only have 1 playment left in my 3 year deal (started August 2020), and they are saying I still owe over $1000....

I got this exact email as well, but for an account number that I can not access. My Dell preferred account is paid off completely and closed, and my current laptop payments I have been told are through a Dell Terms account. The only other account I can think of would have been my previous laptop that's been paid off for 3+ years now. When I spoke to someone at DFS they said there was no Preferred account associated with me sooo, not sure what's happening here.

I sent a request to the page you linked on Jul 26, and still have not received a response.

I HAVE received two requests to fill out Dell Customer Experience Surveys... Terrible is the answer, as always.  This sort of thing is why I don't do business with Dell anymore.

Now, what's the answer to MY question?  I'd like to know if this is a scam.  Has anyone human being gotten a response on this?

Is it possible to give a negative Kudos for all of the form and/or AI replies?  We get it.  Contact the link.  I did that before you messaged me to tell me to use the link.  Which is why I stated "I just sent a request on the page the Mod linked," in my initial message.

Incase you do not receive a response from them, I'd suggest calling them. Or chatting with them via link: https://dell.to/43QFJAK. The chat is generally connected to the US region, however, this team will also be able to assist with regards to this email query.

If it's from DellAutomatedNotification@digital-delivery.com then it's real. ARO Inc is legit, etc... I called and talked to several sales reps between Dell and DFS. They seemed to have done some mass notifications to insentivise people to pay off their financing at a decent discount, my guess is to get rid of some legacy system that was costing them more to maintain. Idk why they didn't just migrate their customers to the new platform.
