How do you register a new monitor on a MacBook?
Dell S2722QC
I purchased a new S2722QC monitor from the Dell store on Amazon. Your current registration process requires the download and use of Dell's SupportAssist application, which is Windows OS based. Since I can't download and run this application on my MacBook, I'm left with literally no way to register this monitor.
That's a really annoying oversight by the way. Even if I had a Windows PC, I personally hate the idea of having to download a software package to register a peripheral device.
How can I resolve this?

* Read the Dell monitor, Apple FAQ
"None of the Dell D, E, G, P, S, SE, Alienware monitors have macOS support from Dell."
* The Dell Product Registration page states, "If you are unable to use product detection, please use the Ownership Transfer form to submit your registration."

This "Ownership Transfer form" is cumbersome and clunky. It's meant for an transfer of the warrant from a previous owner to the new one. If Dell can't be bothered to make a Mac compatible registration "detect" app, then you could at least make a more straightforward "New Purchase for Mac Owners form".
