Dell Reward expiring after 90 days

New to Dell Rewards having returned to the brand after a 10 year hiatus following disappointment with an previous Dell laptop. Somewhat surprised to see my rewards expire after just 90 days and can only be redeemed in £15 blocks on purchases over £100. Unless I'm buying for an institution, I'm never going to be making large enough and frequent enough purchases to accumulate enough points I can redeem in sufficient sized chunks to ever fully get the claimed payout ratio of points to purchase price. Why 90 days expiration? In combination with chunky redemption volume and min purchase size its makes it difficult to apply in full (or even at all). How is it supposed to build brand loyalty if consumer is left feeling ripped off.

Dells response here is a perfect example of how poor the customer service really is. What good are reward points that expire in 90 days? You can't feasibly build up enough points to do anything useful its just moronic.

Thats just one of the many pesky and predatory practices I've observed through dell just from buying one desktop.

"Why do our points expire in 90 days? Policy says so and you signed it, goodbye. "

You might want to start prioritizing the customer a little more in the current economic climate. Buying power is being leveraged a lot these days.
