Dell Comenity does not work to order from Dell.
I can't order from Dell because when Comenity took over they gave a new account number which was supposed to automatically link with your Dell account but does not work. Can't verify they have an account for me but them sometimes it does verify I have an account but then says my account is incorrect. Very frustrating. I have been with Dell buying and paying on time for 10 years and then Comenity comes in and screws everything up. Anybody had any luck with them and ordering from Dell?

UPDATE!!
I found a fix (at least for me). I had to unlink my Dell Pay account from Dell.com and then I re linked it and after it found my account I was able to order.

Same issue--I placed an order from the Dell Outlet two days ago and when I clicked on Dell Pay there was a message that they "found my account" and everything appeared OK but my order has just been sitting there and was not assigned an order number. There was some kind of hold placed by Comenity. I had to contact Comenity directly and got referred to the fraud department. I had to verify who I was and then they had to lift the hold they had placed for literally no reason. I am a long term Dell customer with a perfect payment record and decades of purchases. Why on Earth are they preventing orders? I ordered directly from Dell online-it should be a smooth process. I'm upset enough that I'm thinking of buying from another manufacturer...

I figured out what I needed to do to fix it. On a whim I decided to unlink my Dell pay account and then re link it and it worked. I don't know if this is the situation with everyone's issue but I tried it like every day for a while and then tried this fix and I was able to order.
