Sharing Array FA ports between VSAN's using CISCO MDS IVR - Inter VSAN Routing

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of sharing Symmetrix VMAX FA's between VSAN's using IVR? We are about to put in a new VMAX annd we want to spread the IO widely accross FA's but this will mean implementing IVR, putting the FA's in one VSAN and routing between that VSAN and the various VSAN's that will need connectivty to the Array.

I don't need help configuring IVR but it would be interesting if anyone has had any practical experience of sharing Array resoucres in this way. It all seems straightforward enough int heory but I can't find evidence of anyone having ever done it when searching Powerlink!

thanks in advance!

we have, actually our DMX3 is at one site and the host is at another site, there is a very low latency DWDM link between the two. DMX3 is one VSAN , AIX box is in another VSAN ..both connected using IVR (there is a transit VSAN in the middle connecting both sites).
