Replacing Nexus cards - ISCSI VNX 5700 question

Hi,

Our network team is going to replace two line cards in our NEXUS that connect to our VNX ISCSI slics. The development ISCSI cluster is on this platform. Is there anything I need to do to the ISCSI ports on my end before they start? Is there anything the application team needs to do for the ISCSI guests?

Thank you!

ok, as long as your hyper-v hosts are configured with PowerPath (licensed) and they replace one line card at a time, PowerPath should handle the failover/failback just like it would with fiber channel connectivity.

Thank you Dynamox!

I spoke to the Windows Engineers. The cluster is running hyper-v and the hosts in the cluster are running powerpath. The vm guests running on the hosts do not.
