question about ds-32b2 fabric_os upgrade to version 5.3.2c

We have eight brocade 3900's (emc ds-32b2) that we plan to upgrade from 5.1.0d to 5.3.2c on Saturday, July 10. We're having difficulty confirming that our HBA firmware versions (emulex lpe11000 v2, lpe10000 v 1.90a4, lp10000-e v1.91a5, lp9002 v3.93a0, lpe11002 v2.72a2 and HP HBAs AB465A and AD194A with versions 3.3.18 and 4.0.85 respectively) are compatible with the new Fabric_OS. Is there a support matrix where we can look this up? We've been to the E-LAB interoperability navigator and couldn't see what we're looking for. We've checked an EMC Support Matrix (14000+ lines long) document that we found there. Tried the e-lab wizard and advanced mode. Just not seeing it. Thanks for any advice you can provide!

Hello,

You were looking in the correct place.   The EMC Support Matrix (ESM) is the key EMC doc for compatiblity.  If you don't see it listed there it isn't tested and supported for use in an EMC SAN.    As equipment goes End of Life it will be removed from the ESM that includes both hardware and firmware.  That could be the reason why you don't see it.   My recommendation would be to discuss the configuration with your local EMC Support Team.   If the configuration isn't listed on the ESM as supported they can put in a request into EMC Engineering (RPQ) to evaluation the configuration and see if it can be supported.   There are many factors that go into deciding if the configuration can be supported so it may or may not be possible to be supported.

Thank you.

thank you. I've figured out what I was doing wrong in e-lab. It still doesn't let us get specific about hba firmware versions and which ones work with the FOS 5.3.2c but mostly the problem with e-lab was of my own doing. Just didn't know how to use it. One of the local EMC CEs gave me some pointers.
