Connecting a DCX (FX8-24 blade) to a LAN switch

Dear experts,

I'm facing the following: I have a DCX which I need to connect to a LAN switch using Ethernet. Since the 10GE license does actually cost a few dollars (a lot) I'm investigating the option to use the 1GbE SFP's which are license free.

If I connect a VMAX using an 8Gb link for SRDF and I want to "bundle" a few of the 1GbE links in a "ethernet trunk", will I have more than a 1Gb connection or am I restricted by the 1 active stream design of this LAN portchannel ? I'd like to see that I can group 8 x 1GbE together in a portchannel and actually have a 1:1 throughput from VMAX to VMAX instead of having a weak 1GbE link somewhere in between..

Additional question: Does the DCX have data compression on these 1GbE links (yeah yeah I know, I should read the manuals - and I will right now).

Answering my own questions:

FCIP trunking exists (https://support.emc.com/docu34397_Brocade_Fabric_OS_FCIP_7.0_Administrator's_Guide.pdf?language=en_US).

Data compression is possible.
