SCv3020 storage can't manage unassigned disks

Hello.

I have SCv3020 storage, and I am tried to setup 5 of hard drives then it gives me error:

No disks eligible to be added to this disk folder could be found.

I attached screen shot of them. Checked the unassigned reason, and it says: Unlicensed.

Please give me some information how can I solve the solution.

And how can I check that hard disk is compatible with my storage?

"...And how can I check that hard disk is compatible with my storage?...."

That sounds a little bit funny if you ask after purchasing the Disks

Every Dell SC aka Compellent needs Dell certified SC disks which comes with the right FW and format status. Even than there are smaller goofs like SCOS Version and that you cant use Disks from a SCv in a SC.

So... where do you have bought the Disks and let you know them that you need Disk for a Dell SCv?

No.. normal Dell Server disk want work.

Joerg
