Yeah, they gutted the whole thing, motherboard and screen. It works now, but paying full price for what is already a refurbished unit, isn't what I was seeking. There are a few small dimples at the bottom of the frame around the display now where they must have had to press fit something on it, though it's just an annoying aesthetic concern. Annoying nonetheless.
