Hello. Thank you for the information, but do you have the part number of the discontinued kit as I maybe able to find it elsewhere. I find that hard to believe that it was discontinued. Is the VRTX discontinued? There has to still be a replacement available. Any further information would be helpful. Thank you.

I would agree with ShineK to contact sales in your region for part number(s) and availability.

I am able to find two Customer Kit part numbers for upgrade but I don't know if they are discontinued part numbers or not. Sales could get you current part number.

I have called Dell and have not gotten anywhere as they are not able to look up parts for parts that are discontinued. I am looking for the backplane and the cables. The part numbers you provided was the RAID Controller and not the whole upgrade kit. Can someone from the US help me out with this? I have contacted both sales and Prosupport and got bounced back and forth between them with no luck. Thank you.

Try contacting the Spare Part team.

The part numbers I provided are called a spare part number. They may be able to find it or a substitute.

Thank you for your assistance, but I called them and was on the phone for over an hour and they stated that since the part is discontinued they are not able to find it in there inventory. I was hoping someone on the forum had purchased it and had the part number of it. If anyone knows of it I would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I also want to add you need this cable as well. The part number is NV6R0 for Dell Powedge VRTX Mini SAS SFF-8087 to Mini SAS SFF-8087 Server Cable. The part above and this part make up the kit. Thank you.

What is the part number for the shared PERC 8 External card? we're run out of space and we no longer have any available bay, so I need to extend with and external raid card

It looks to be part #'s;

NV6R0 for 2.5in chassis

or
Y69Y8 for 3.5in chassis

As far as ordering I would suggest contacting your regional sales and provide the part numbers and they will have the most options in getting out quicker.
