Data Administrator role not able to view Events
When a SNAP is taken by a DBA via AppSync who has Data Administrator role assigned, we want to capture the snapshot name created. However, we are unable to see Events in the Service plans. Attached is screen shot.
How do DBA's capture the snapshot name ?

Vijay,
I do not see an attachment, but in order to review events, you must traverse through Copy Management, the individual database, and then click the copy and the events will appear below...please see my screen shot.

I understand, but you are probably logged in as appsync admin. Can you login as a user with only data administrator access and see if you are able to view the events tab.

I am using Service Plan with filesystem to do Snaps (since this is for DB2 database), may be that's why it's not showing me the events option ?.

I have tested with file system service plan, and it behaves the same, as expected.

Thank You so much. I am able to see events.
Follow up question. - Do you see a need for normal DBA to have Data Administrator + ACL Manager role or just Data Administrator access will satisfy most of the needs. In other words, what is the use of ACL Manager role.
Thank You,

if you gave a DBA the ACL Manager role, they would in essence be able to grant themselves permission to any object. The admin is the only user who should be given the ACL manager role, or a security admin for that matter....who must also be a data administrator.
