x17 R1, Cherry MX low profile mechanical keyboard?
I'd like to ask if it's possible to replace my current keyboard with cherry mx low-profile mechanical keyboard. Although I didn't buy x17 r1 with mechanical keyboard, I'd like to now put it in my laptop as keyboard. I didn't buy cuz Best Buy didn't offer with mechanical keyboard option. If so, how would I proceed and how long will it take while doing the service?

The keyboard assembly can be replaced, but doing so isn't something Dell covers - you're on your own to make the arrangements with a local shop or do the work yourself.
The first thing you'll need to do is find out if the part is available - in the US, call Dell Spare Parts -- 1-800-357-3355
