M17x R4, Dell does not support Windows 10 or above on your device

I have an Alienware M17 R4 M17x R4 that I have upgraded several times over the years since I purchased it in Dec 2013. However, it appears that this system cannot be upgraded to Windows 11. The issues are the Secure Boot, the TPM, and the HP 4000 graphics card that is in the system along with the 2GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 6 75M which is not being recognized by the system. That's another issue.

So has anyone successfully upgraded their Windows 10 to Windows 11 on their Alienware M17 R4 M17x R4? If so, how did you do it?

Are you sure about that model number? According to the Dell list of supported systems the M17 R4 is compatible with Windows 11.This page has an M17 R4 with specs.

Possibly you meant the M17x R4?

Hi @LukeDouglas  please visit Solved: m17 R4, cannot upgrade to Windows 11 - Dell Community

Before conversion to Windows 11, please use Macrium Reflect Free to create clone (copy) so that you can go back to Windows 10 if required.

The m17 R4 was released in 2021. The M17x R4 was released in 2012 so that must be what LukeDouglas has, "since I purchased it in Dec 2013".

You are correct.  It is the Alienware M17x R4 so that link above won't work for me.
