M17 R3, Compatible with Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675x?
Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my current wireless adapter from a Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650w to the newer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675x with 6MHz bandwidth but I'm not sure if the socket connection is the same on the motherboard.

Both cards are in M.2 format, so yes, it will fit in the same M.2 slot where your current WiFi card resides.
Note that you'll be able to use the 6 GHz band only if you have Windows 11 and a 6E-capable router.
Whenever touching components or working inside a computer, wear a grounded wrist strap, also called anti-static wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet. It's a cheap and sensible precaution. Rest the laptop on an anti-static mat or at least a reasonable alternative such as corrugated cardboard.

I have Windows 10 Pro and I've just checked my Huawei Mesh 3 AX3000 but unfortunately, it only has WiFi 6+ and is not the same as WFi 6E. So I will stay with the Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650w for now. Thank you, Filert
