eSATA port on the Aurora R4
Can anyone tell me where the port is located? I just bought one and have an external drive holder I would love to hook up to it when the R4 arrives.

Hi markshaheen,
Unfortunately Alienware Aurora R4 does not have an eSATA port. You will need to purchase an X1 card and install it in either in port # 23 or port # 25 which can be viewed in the below figure:
Then you will be getting an eSATA port along with the X1 card. You may also refer the below link for X51 cards:

The blue port is the USB 3.0.
From the top...

Two USB 2.0 ports

It would be a great PC for a college student. They could game on it and load Office or OpenOffice and do their school work.
