Anyone get the Rocksmith Real-Tone cable to work with Alienware Alpha?
So I play Rocksmith 2014 on my desktop through Steam, and with my new Alpha Steam box I was looking forward to some living room guitar action.
However there's a driver issue it seems, as Windows 8.1 and the Alpha will not work, Google suggests disabling xHCI but that's not an option with the Alpha BIOS.
Anyone get Rocksmith to work on the Alpha?

I may have figured out a work-around for myself.
One issue brought up is that the original Rocksmith real-tone cable may have issues with USB3 ports. Since the front ports are USB3, I placed a simple USB2 hub in between the port and the Rocksmith cable and was able to play in my living room.
