Aurora R16, max supported ram and AIO cooler upgrade ?

Alienware Aurora R16

Alienware Aurora R16

My new R16 due in next few days to be delivered. It does come with 64gb 5600mhz 2x32Gig

I’m wanting to know if I can upgrade aftermarket to 6000mhz with better timings ? My cpu is 14700kf.

I did see somewhere max is 5600 as it still using 690 board.

am I able to upgrade the AIO water cooler to a better one with better fans ?

or is it possible to add fans to the existing AIO for push pull ?

thanks

The difference between 5600 and 6000 is slight and the specs for the R16 call for 5600. So if you install 6000, it will still run at 5600 as per the specs.

I would see first how it performs before starting to look for upgrades.

I must point out that I did not spec the machine as it’s an outlet unit.
