Aurora R15, i9-13900KF, EDP/VRM current limit stopping 5.5GHz on all cores
Hello my Aurora R15 will not keep its boost at 5.5GHz. The CPU temperature is at 60° though there is a EDP current limit in red in HW Info or ThrottleStop clearly saying that the current of the VRM is throttling. How is it possible knowing that I'm running everything stock? Clocks go down to 5.2GHz while throttling.

Design decision made by Alienware.

Now this is not a power limit issue look , package power is only 125-150w which is far from the limit of 250w

By limiting it to 250 Watts maximum. Well, 253 Watts technically speaking.

Limited to 250 Watt power limit. There's no way to bypass it.
Pretty sure we discussed this before... Power limit.

Hard to say in that picture, but it looks like your VID is at 1.42 Volts...
Current/EDP Limit Throttling
There can be multiple reasons why the current/EDP throttling is set on the processor. Three common reasons are listed below:-

Though how can I lower voltage If they locked undervolting?
Can I set core ratio in the bios to 55 with 1.370 ? I can only do static voltage not adaptive.
I checked dell is still using the z690 for the 13900k , paying a computer 5000 usd for so much cut-down , power limited, no undervolting, poor vr management:(
Can I increase Processor Core IccMax with throttlestop ?

Highly doubt you can make any changes. Knowing Alienware they locked down most of the settings and only expose a few in the BIOS.
I remember my R10 and that BIOS was as barren as the Sahara desert.
I switched to a retail board and I now have every setting possible and some, available in the BIOS.
You think for $5,000 USD they could at least give you a decent motherboard...

Anyway 100 mhz less on all cores will not affect fps in games, though I'm upset I took the i9 in that cases I should have gotten the i5

Installing xtu will destroy the alienware command center meaning I cannot manage my rgb, fans etc lol a big mess
Setting 5.5 ghz in the bios should put all the p cores at 5.5 right ?

Yes, I agree. It's frustrating considering what you pay for one of these...

I just set multiplier to 5.5 and voltage to 1.2 static, ran cinebench r23 power draw went from 250w to 215w , issue is I don't know what they multiplier do exactly because setting 5.5 is bios gives me P cores running all at 5ghs loooooool
Can you see anything I'm missing ? If voltage was too low it would not boot ?
