Aurora R13, constant random FPS drops after 5 to 10 minutes of gameplay
![Alienware Aurora R13](http://i.dell.com/is/image/DellContent/content/dam/ss2/product-images/dell-client-products/desktops/alienware-desktops/alienware-aurora-r13/spi/lunar-light-white-clear-panel-cryo-cooled/storm/desktop-alienware-r13-relsize-500-ng.jpg?fmt=png-alpha&wid=500&hei=500&fit=constrain%2C1&qlt=95)
Alienware Aurora R13
recently my fps keeps dropping for a few seconds after around 10 minutes of gameplay. I've tried most easy solutions and I'm unsure of what's causing it? when this happens my CPU frequency is shown as 0.40? is this related to the problem at all? or is there something else I haven't tried yet?

0.4 frequency would be an issue. What are your temperatures when the fps drop happens?

80 is a tad high. See if you can increase air flow, bring them down a bit.

@Vanadiel temp may not be the problem I kept it around 70°C - 74°C and frame drops still happened maybe I'm not getting it low enough but if not is there any other solution?

Where do you see your CPU frequency being 0.40?

@Vexalius try Intel XTU intead.
It will allow you to see some information of what is really going on with the CPU.
