No.

from the spec point of view Chris is spot on.

from education point of view. R12 has Intel 10th-11th gen cpu which supports DDR4 ram only

You would need 12th generation Alder Lake and 13th generation Raptor Lake Core CPUs to support  DDR5 

for that you would also need a new motherboard and chipset

Thanks! Was wondering if there was a way to allow for the mobo to just downlock it a la too fast ddr4, but that's probably crazy I guess.

@roushrsh​ DDR5 modules do not fit in DDR4 slots and vice versa. So it's not possible to use DDR5 in a DDR4 slot.
