Alpha R2, Bios update won't install

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me figure out whether or not I still need to update my BIOS on my Alienware Alpha R2 (ASM201).

Late last year, Dell SupportAssist notified me that a number of updates were required, including a BIOS update to ver 2.0.12 (AMD) (2018-08-10).  I chose the option to install the updates (including the requirement to restart if needed) and let the computer do its thing.  The problem is, after all was said and done SupportAssist advised me the BIOS update was still required.  I tried the automatic way once again, allowed the process to complete, yet again SupportAssist advised me the BIOS update was still outstanding.

Finding this quite odd, I came to the Dell support site and went through the motions to manually update my BIOS.  Again, this process took place (with no additional messages or errors) and once I restarted my computer, found the issue continued - a message asking me to update my BIOS.

I have since completely reinstalled Windows 10 clean, yet still find SupportAssist advising me that my BIOS still needs to updated.

As of this post, System Information advises me my BIOS version is: BIOS Version/Date Alienware 1.0.13, 2018-07-16.  This further confuses me as the updated BIOS version should be 2.0.12 according to the Dell Support page, yet the NVIDIA version should be 1.0.13.

Anyone have an idea on what I should do at this point?
