OptiPlex 3000 Thin Client - Touchscreen forces reboot

We have a problem when using a iiyama touchscreen with a OptiPlex 3000 thin client. The screen works (display) but if we you use the touch, the thin client restarts.

All it takes is one touch on the touch screen and the thin client freezes and restarts. The display without touch usage works constantly on the client.
