Replacement USB type C port
Hello, My usb type C port on my 9350 is broken. When i move the charging cable it stops charging and HDMI out has completely stopped unless I have the wire "pulling up" away from the laptop.
I have called dell but they only offer a replacement motherboard for >£250 which is unreasonable as I only need one part replacing.I want to find a local engineer to resolder the part to the motherboard but am struggling to find the actual replacement USB type C port.
Any ideas?

Dell does not sell individual components on motherboards. The following may help but having a tech repair the motherboard could be as expensive as a new motherboard.

Mine has the same issue, which is a huge problem as I use the port a lot. Dell support is trash.
